A fantastic village in Falkirk District, steeped in centuries of social history, features both The Forth and Clyde & Union Canals, also sites ' The Falkirk Wheel, historic pubs , Rosebank Distillery, Camelon Juniors Football Club. Lock 16 at Port Downie is a busy hub for boaters . The Forth and Clyde locks, from Lock 16 to the famous Kelpies are operated and assisted by a phenomenal volunteers aslo sited at Port Downie. Camelon is also a Mecca for cycling, fishing, canal holidays & hosts an abundance of green space for walking dogs and various outdoor activities..nnCmp'24
It was OK. Thankfully, it was a dry day as the shelter smelled really bad faeces.
I live in Camelon. It's great to walk the canal and wander down to The Falkirk Wheel
Long waiting for train to Glasgow and when it's cold you can't hide in properly place
This area is rough, be careful on foot!
