Fantastic fun for young and old. fantastic facilities a cracking butty van and licensed bar. And not forgetting top quality harness racing from around the United Kingdom for a bargain price.
We went to a pony club event held there. Very nice sized arena for the warm up and a good large arena used for the jumping. Whilst it was muddy around the arena, the surface in both arenas was not affected by the heavy rainfall the previous day. There is a track that goes round the perimeter which is useful if you need to trot off some energy before going into the ring.
Went to the Northern Welsh Show there on Sunday. Only thing is there was no toilet paper in Ladies and it was pitch black no lights on.
Ground rock hard but otherwise a great venue. Easy to find from all main routes. Great atmosphere and maid very welcome.
Great track, great atmosphere, looking forward to next meeting
