This centre provides an excellent teaching service. Having completed my GCSEs here, achieving 8 A*/A grades, I continued my studies to A Levels. I received A* grades in A Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, heading to study Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. The price is very affordable for the exams and tutoring services provided. I would definitely recommend Cambridge Tutorial College to any person serious to commit to a rigorous teaching ethos with a prime focus on independent study. The staff had been extremely supportive and made my journey through full time study undoubtedly exciting and memorable, which I now look forward to pursue further at university.
I sat for 2 IGCSEs as an external candidate at this centre. Along with providing the facilities to prepare for the written exam and the speaking tests, they even prepared me and provided tips before which was not not something I expected as I was only an external candidate using the centre's facilities. Would highly recommend to students looking to do some extra subjects or retake certain exams.
I have really enjoyed my experience at this college. I have done 2 year A-levels in 1 year and have achieved grades to get into medicine. The staff and the teachers are very helpful. They have written an excellent reference which has got me into medicine.
As a being student at private college in Birmingham CTC, I would NOT recommend this to anyone. First and foremost, the management is really poor, the classrooms, IT sector one computer and particularly the condition of the toilets. Most teachers possess a substandard teaching quality with the exception of a few. Dare I say that the teachers have absolutely no clue in reference to what should be taught. Also, when problems arise, the college do not really take any action to resolve the issues. Mr Makbool the head of the college was not trustworthy due to over claiming about what they do, which was misleading. Moreover, he did not take our complains into consideration which made things worse. Although, he did mention before the payment was made that he would resolve all the issues with 100% satisfaction, while ensure that the quality of teaching is to the high standard. Note this was only being said, but not act upon. I highly suggest anyone considering to study here; to re-consider.
It gives me a great pleasure to write this review for Cambridge tutorial college Coventry Road Birmingham. My daughter was a student intending to seek a place in dental medical school. She remained a student at Fairfax high school & subsequently attended in Abbey college Birmingham. My daughter was not achieving the scores. I researched on web as well contacted few contacts. Luckily an old classmate of my daughter who achieved scores at Cambridge tutorial school directed us as she already was a dental student. It was a wonderful experience. I met mr maqbool principal & the staff. They arranged tailored lessons of science subjects at A level AQA exam board. Excellent day to day advice was given. We were surprised with the best scores in all A level science subjects. My daughter got admission in Paul Joseph safariq university Kosice 6 years course . She is now a graduate dentist since June 26 , 2019. I am very happy with this tutorial college. Meanwhile, I recommended quite a few people about their children scoring at A levels. Everybody subsequently praised about the help provided at Cambridge tutorial school. I thank to principal & associated staff at college for remarkable assistance to students & tailored lessons. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!! avoid at all costs!!! Had the worst experience. Mr makbool took my money and promised to deliver. He said he will give me all the details of my exams and send them to me with all the reading material. I contacted him several times to ask the details of my exam which he ignored ignored ignored until ONE WEEK BEFORE MY EXAM. I failed because of him! Guys please don’t trust this man your kids will fail. Please go somewhere that are accredited. Mr makbool will only steal your money, lie and deceit you. I don’t know how they are still open ofsted need to look into this ASAP!!!!
THE WORST ACADEMY AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ahmad makbool scams you for your money, deceitful and no help at all! On the books it shows he’s resigned in 2016 but still works there so he can’t get into trouble. Do not trust him or this place you will fail your exams guys. Go to AEC they are trustworthy and credible not run by asian uncles who can’t speak English and VERY unprofessional. Doesn’t reply to messages and ignored for days. Council really need to look at this place!!!
been running for 16 years, excellent service and they are the only college running the test for medicine, whoever says that they are not good well ask someone that has been there for 16 years and passed through their services. they have excellent tuition teachers and prices are reasonable too. just because you fail your exams you cannot blame the centre!
I've brought my children here with grades of C's & D's at their school. With the motivation and excellent help of this tuition centre, not only was I ecstatic so was the school teacher noticing there fantastic improvement on their recent mock results that spiked from D to A's. I'm so ever grateful that I've brought my children here and recommend anyone who wants to bring their children for tuition.
I recently completed my exams here and would highly recommend this centre for whatever you need; If it's tuition one to one or group lessons taught by professional tutors, entering for private examinations throughout the year this includes exams like BMAT, I/GCSE, A-Levels etc and any advices that's worrying you - this is the best place to be.
