Having dealt with this company previously via Ebay for outboard service items I had no hesitation in contacting them when I was looking to upgrade my current outboard motor. I was offered a fair px price for my current outboard and a great price for a new outboard. I collected the outboard myself, it was available on the agreed date and ready for collection. The staff member I dealt with ran the engine up for me and explained about starting, storing and the best fuel to use. I would have no reason not to recommend this company to anyone looking for or requiring parts for a outboard.
Friendly and extremely helpful as usual. I was looking for information regarding fitting of an obscure accessory kit and the member of staff went out of their way to look up the details and emailed them along with photographs within 24 hours. Couldn't have been better. Thanks, Bob.
Ordered a tohatsu 3.5hp outboard got it next day delivery. And very helpful staff will definitely buy again.
The entrance is a single door facing the road . but it is an Aladdin's cave when you get inside . very helpful staff . Good range of outboards new and used .
Excellent service from the team at Cambridge outboard service I purchased this engine Tuesday evening around 5pm and they said they would have a courier pic it up Wednesday morning but as it was coming up to the west coast of Scotland it would take a few days for delivery then today Thursday I had a call to say it was out for delivery and would be with me today 15 min later i had a call from there courier to say they where 30 min away from my location so I was well happy as it was next day delivery really the engine was well packaged with bubble wrap and cardboard and was well secured to the pallet it arrived on so can't recommend these guys enough for the speedy delivery and service they gave me from buy the engine to it arriving at my home I will definitely use them for all my future purchases and for the service kit next job for Me is to fit it and try it out this weekend hopefully can't say how happy I am thanks again to the team at Cambridge outboard service Mr David Stone
Absolutly appauling attitude. Called at 9am to enquire about a part and was told the boss would call back shortly. I asked if they were open all day and I was told 'open for bussines as usual'. I was aware that today was a national day of mourning which is why I asked. After not hearing back I called several times thinking their phones were busy and when they did answer I was met with a very angry and uncalled for man who took a dislike to the fact that I had been trying to get through to them. I was then told they were paying there respects and hung up on. We are all paying our respects buy closing our businesses for the day yet you keep yours open and give customers abuse when they dare to call you. I used Rhos place several times for parts but no more. Discussed with the attitude

Just got to say the service I got from Dan was brilliant, ordered a new outboard with his good advice on the Tuesday afternoon got it delivered to my home in Scotland on early Thursday afternoon all intact on a pallet boxed up with loads of protection inside the box. , Very speedy with some sterling advice , Thanks a lot Dan , I will definitely be using Cambridge outboards again. I was a nervous buyer and relied totally on Daniel and his team to guide me through the process from choosing the correct model engine to arranging courier deliver and the pick up of my own engine. The Cambridge Team had infinite patience in dealing with my many questions and the whole experience was made that much easier by their willingness to help me. Just collected my new outboard from this company. They were brilliant. Ordered it at 10pm via an email request. The owner text me back a short while later to confirm that it was in stock. By 12pm the following day, I was watching my new 20hp Mercury running in their test tank, after they had completed a full pre collection inspection, greased, oiled and ready to go. I’ve been looking for a while for the best price and theirs was it. The staff were great and helped me with every question. I would definitely recommend Cambridge Outboards Ltd to everyone. A Credit to the Mercury Marine dealers.
