Its not a bad school, it's changed a lot and is now actually a respectable and good school that I would say leaves students with a balanced outlook. The quality of teaching is good, there are sometimes strange descisions but all in all, as public schools go, it's good
If i could it would be 0 stars. I was bullied and they did nothing. I am depressed probably because of this school. This among us was one of the only good things.
My daughter started at Callington in October 2020 after we moved down from London. The change in my daughter since starting at Callington is amazing. She is outgoing, confident and sociable, I could not be happier with the change in my daughter and the school have had a massive part in that. I feel like she has found her identity and happiness, I can not thank the teachers enough.
There were some fantastic teachers here. They mostly left when the school started failing due to poor management. Horrible administration, not very encouraging, was focused on image grades, not the interests or passions of students. Also: bullying.
extremely one sided, preaches mental health but throws it back in your face, saying things like “you’ve gone back to square 1” “you were doing really well and now your failing” not supportive at all.

Awful! Used Donald trump as an "inspiration" and honestly they don't give a sh** about you or your feelings!!! Seriously considering moving. All i get is drama, and the teachers are disgusting.
It's a typical secondary school. Not the best at most things and pretty terrible at combatting bullies. But it's the best in the area.
The school is ok there are some teachers that would move the earth for their students and there are some that just don't care they preach to the world about being a community college but the truth is there is very little community spirit the school has a very serious bullying problem and do not listen to the students I went in there once when I was being bullied and the teacher told me it was my own fault I do not appreciate the way some of the adults treat you they assume you are a trouble maker before they have even learnt your name
The worst school in history, i got kicked out of year 7 for defending myself against bullies, i did tell the teachers and even contacted the goveners and they done nothing
