Great bar in Carrickmacross, awesome outside area.....
This is the best little pub in all of Ireland. It’s a true locals local but with the warmth of welcome that any stranger instantly becomes a local and a friend. Great bar area, the lounge is great too with a boss juke box too. There is a large screen for big sporting events and a covered patio around the back. It benefits from a great outdoor space. The whole family running the show are amazing, they are a credit to the pub trade and to Carrickmacross. Ireland couldn’t have a best pub without Callans included.
Very good staff, front bar is cosy
Beautifully renovated bar where the renovations don't detract from the classic feeling. Warm friendly people, excellent pints, and comfortable furniture.

It's my local so I'm biased, lovely pub and lovely staff. Would highly recommend the Guinness, beautiful pint. Nice outdoor area and family friendly.
Great social environment, cozy bar at the front and spacious lounge at the back with a large outdoor, covered and heated area for music and drinks.
Best pub in Carrickmacross. Darren and the staff are all class, very funny and friendly. Pints are great, craic had is even better. 10/10 for service too!
