We came up here last weekend a look while on our way to the cairngorms. The train wasn't open so both are very much so looking forward to going back up a visit in summer when the trains are back on again. Lovely place with friendly locals.

The staff was friendly, the railway provides light snacks and beverages for the ride. The sights are beautiful and the experience leaves you with memories.

We stumbled upon this place. It was closed when we arrived on a bitter cold day. A young lad very kindly let us look around the station ( he was called " the phantom" in the end ). Once we were in we bumped into a guy called George who was doing up an old carriage. He let us have a wee look at his work and told us a lot of information about the history of the station and line. It was fascinating. We will most certainly go back when the steam trains start running again next year. Thank you guys for a treat of a day.😊

I felt the need for steam and this delightful volunteer run railway delivered. Fab day out for our two year old daughter who loves Thomas the tank engine. Events throughout the year. Good website: Caledonian railway..
