Stayed here bed and breakfast and evening meals.nGood bits first.nThe staff and food was absolutely fantastic. Always friendly and helpful and food was 5 star and enjoyed everything i chose.nThe room was big with plenty of pillows and clean and warm.nBad bits.nI was in room 9 which is just above an air-conditioning unit which kept me awake as I'm a light sleeper. No hot water unless you spend 10 mins messing with taps. No toilet brush either ?nOther guests were complaining to me about the soft bouncy floors creaking and keeping them awake but i saw nothing.nOverall it was a great place to stay and i would stay again but next time not in room 9.nnDate of visit: November 2024

Have been for food the last 2 nights and what exceptional service from Lynne. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Made my little girl feel so welcome and the only staff member who has given my little girl crayons and paper to keep her occupied. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have been our server.She was run off her feet both nights but still made sure her customer service was outstanding.Food was amazing the new chicken burgers are spectacularThis lady definitely goes above and beyond for her customers and is so well mannered too,One of the nicest staff members.

We had a meal here was served by Yvonne who is one of the best service waitresses.nWho is only staff member in this restaurant to have read the menu back to us to make sure everything was ok as we have been a few times before. She also asked about allergies as well.nVery professional & very helpful never let go of good staff like this. Excellent service Yvonne everybody else should be learning from you.

What a hotel,came up for the ladies open golf, booked 3 nights b&B excellent. Staff first class, friendly, food excellent, hot and tasty. All in all a very happy 3 days,stay at the Caledonian you won't be disappointed.
