It's a nice excavation of one section of the Roman fort. It only represents 1/8 of the entire fort but is well laid out and not crowded at all.

Good place to visit if your into history, learned a great deal about yarmouth and caister history, and it's free

Very well kept for such a small attraction.  Boards are as per English Heritage high standard.  And even with the massive urban sprawl this little place really gives you a feel of the place.  A comprehensive visit with GPS mapping and board reading and pretending your a Roman Auxillary will not take longer than an hour.  Good place for a break.

Interesting ruins, also two big fields behind ideal to take your dog.
