What a gem! We had lunch there today and it has to be one of the best dog friendly restaurants we've come across in a long time. The meal was absolutely delicious and even our pooches were treated to their own water bowl and treat! If you like a good burger, then this is definitely the place to try. You can't beat good food, great service and a friendly atmosphere! We'll be heading back to the Cairn Hotel again next time we're in town!

Have always come here at least once every second month as I like the food, although slightly pricey. Always try to support the local community but when they raise their prices from £12 pound for a burger to £16. It's clear they only want to rob the tourists and don't care about locals. Extortion and embarrassing quite frankly for the quality of food.

Fantastic waitstaff! Good goat cheese fritters. The eggplant veggie meal was good too. The steak pie was flavorful too. The beds are good and the hot shower is fantastic. Need more plugs in one of the rooms. Need to get the date soon chords here.
We had a lovely family meal here on last night of our holiday. Our waiter was class, friendly, attentive and even had some warm conversation. The meals were really good, proper cooked and made not microwave. Finished off with some great pudding too. Definitely recommend and good Value too. Vegetarian options: Daughter had veggie bean burger. Kid-friendliness: Kids felt comfortable and relaxed in the dining room and friendly waiting staff put us at ease.
Great location with lovely walks around the river or through the woods. Staff were welcoming and service was good. Hotel interior is very tired and the room rather shabby. Expensive for the quality of the accommodation. Food was tasty but rather limited menu choice.
Wonderful dinner, wonderful staff, busy as hell so I'd be there for 17:30 if I were you! There was a young guy serving who said he was on his work experience and he was really great, very polite thoughtful and courteous, top marks. Kid-friendliness: Warm welcoming & friendly for kids & dogs alike. Parking: Parking round the back of the venue.
Popped in for a spot of lunch after walking around Loch Garten in the morning, we were looking for a place to eat that was dog-friendly nearby and came across Carrbridge. Staff were very friendly and welcomed us and our pooch, and there was plenty of choice on the menu so we were quite happy to get out of the cold. Would highly recommend the steak and ale pie, as well as the salmon starter and the chicken + hash brown ciabatta. There was a slight wait for the food, but didn't mind at all as it came out piping hot and was worth the wait. We're only visiting the area but would happily come back here again in the future.
