Such a cute place! Just a few tables downstairs which felt really intimate with more seating upstairs. We had a wine and coffee all Italian wines and lovely coffee and then decided to stay for lunch after seeing a delicious looking panini on the next table. I had tagliatelle Ragu and my boyfriend had a Panini . The food is nothing fancy but the tagliatelle honestly reminded me of my mother in laws who is Italian proper home cooked food. Would recommend!
What an absolute gem in the middle of Stratford! The veal was unreal! We loved everything about this place and will now become regulars! Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming owner
The food was amazing, so was the experience! I felt back in Italy! I'll definitely come back again.Food: 5/5
Been a couple of times. Genuine Italian atmosphere, service and food. Care taken with dietary allergies.Food: 5/5
Whilst the food was very nice and the waitress was lovely, the male waiter that first came to us was extremely rude. It was 29'c so we were carrying bottled drinks with us around town. We sat outside and was approached by the waiter asking what we'd like. We ordered the Milano. When asked if we want drinks we said no thank you, we're ok. Any other time during the year, I'd agree with his out burst of people bringing their own drinks but it was 29'c and we'd been carrying our drinks with us in the heat. So I feel his snide remarks about "we shouldn't be bringing our own drinks" was uncalled for. His attitude was very snide and I won't be recommending this establishment unless his behaviour changed. Especially when the table next us only ordered orange juice and no food with a bill under half of ours. Edit for the response: You are the rude one. We sat outside, we didn't bring them in. We still bought food. We still paid you for food. The ladies next to us paid less than we did. Did you moan at them for not buying food when all they had was a drink? Ridiculous. You still had custom out of us you wouldn't have had if we'd just walked by. Most places will politely state "I'm sorry but we don't allow for customers to bring their own food and drink". There was a right way to do it but the way you said it was exceptionally rude along with your tone. Very unprofessional.
Staff was attentive and friendly. Carbonna was lush. Nice italian lager. Reasonably priced to.
Best pizza outside of Naples I'd say. My family and I chose 4 different pizzas. Pizza base was perfect and toppings sublime on all. A bit pricier than average but well justified by the superlative quality. Also, very helpful owners.
A great, authentic Italian restaurant. Excellent service with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding and Massimo will always recommend a good wine. If you visit Stratford, not to be missed.
Great little cafe restaurant! Really nice service from the lady and gentleman. Drinks, 2 pizza's and pasta, 1 side came in under £60 which I thought was reasonable for the location. The food tasted great and the décor was realy nice. A great little experience
Popped in for a coffee, ended up having a warm sandwich, very glad I did. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Wide selection of gluten free options too! Would love to pop back for dinner! Gentleman serving was very warm and welcoming. Can even purchase your Italian meats and cheeses here to take home.
