Cafe Nero Uxbridge is one of the Branch i usually visit on regular basis. Staff here is co operative and provides good customer service. Barista’s here are friendly. Loved the overall experience and sitting. Can be better but what else do you need when you have three’s offers!
I've been reading a lot of reviews saying that the staffs here are rude. That is not my experience at all. I am a foreigner and the staff asking my order was very kind and accommodating, even understanding to repeat what she said when I can't understand her accent. The cafe is peaceful maybe because I went there early. But overall a very nice experience. I will definitely come back!
Excellent place for some evening dessert and coffee. Outdoor seating air has a nice flair to it.
This cafe holds a very special place in my heart. I've been a regular there for over 5 years. First thing in the morning on my morning commute, I'd sometimes be the first customer of the day. I ordered the same drink for all 5 years and it's always as good as the first time. Here's a little tip for any customer: don't give the baristas a hard time, they are human too. If you give them a hard time, the coffee won't be as good as it can be. They do what they do for you, and having been to this cafe for as long as I have, I've gotten to know a few of the baristas, and they are genuinely great people. During Winter, the vibe here is amazing. For me, the best time to go is early in the morning, when the cafe is quiet, and the music is your company. You really get to soak in the peaceful atmosphere before you start your day. I've also tried a good selection of the coffee, including the limited time coffee. The Black Forest Mocha is the best.
Friendly staff but not enough of them. I mean less staffs which is making the customers to wait long eventhough not big crowd. Aldo’s it’s bad to see there is not enough staff to clean tables. Classic head office maximum profit minimum wage scenario. Lack of eat in cups which is making no difference between eat in and take away even though they both make different feel in drinking the coffee. Absolutely these things need to be fixed
I gave only 3 stars for coffee’s taste, which I really like. I always order grande big coffee and every time I receive the quantity of regular but they charge for grande. For this tricky attitude I withdraw 2 stars. The amount of coffee is where my fingers are….3/4. Every time. Delivery and take out as well.
I was served today on 26 January after 4pm by a trainee barista. This lady doesn’t even smile or say anything. She only smiles and talks to people from the same background as her. She doesn’t have the right tone of voice and has no customer service skills, her facial expression wasn’t inviting. She asked me “takeaway” without even saying “having in”. This is the second time. The first time on the 20 of January, she chose to not serve after taking plates from tables, she just blank stared me at the till with an uncomfortable look and walked off to pick more plates, I had to wait for the next much more experienced barista to take my order. They didn’t even speak to each other in English. I’m not sure what language it was, but English should be spoken in front of the customer, otherwise it leads to concerns over staff conduct. I don’t feel welcomed here, and it’s a shame because of how ethnically diverse Uxbridge is.
There was a time when Nero was reliable. Coffee is so hit and miss now across the whole chain. Sometimes they just blatantly burn milk Infront of you and don't remake the drink when they know they messed up. why aren't standards maintained, the drinks aren't cheap. The pastries food has always been good at least. Apricot croissant and mushroom toastie nice every time. It's delightful and good food range for vegans, veggies and meat eaters. Vegetarian options: Vegan version of most food items. Toasties without meat. Kid-friendliness: Babychinnos and other kids treats available Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps
Good location of the shop, wheelchair people are welcome too, toilets available. The test of the coffee is amazing and the staff friendly and very professional working.
An average chain coffee place. My latest visit was early on a Sunday, service was swift, staff pleasant and coffee adequate. This place is still the same apart from more wear and tear operators aren't willing to spend on repairing so its beginning to look rather shabby
