Caffè Nero is 5 minutes away from the station, located at the Town Centre, it's a spacious cafe. They have less options for vegan food. The staff was limited and they serve good coffee here.
Fast and friendly service , delicious cake and coffee. The lovely server even made my daughter hot chocolate the perfect temperature for her which was fantastic! Massive downside was the portion size vs the cost. Cheesecake and lemon drizzle was in the window at a fairly decent portion size and then was cut in half to serve. Gives you un unrealistic idea of what you’re going to receive when the price is written next to the slice of cake! Borderline false advertising. But very tasty!
Have been going to Cafe Nero in Epsom from time to time since it opened and unfortunately it’s really gone downhill. The staff were lovely and very helpful, but the cafe is very shabby . Even this is excusable as in times where everything is costing so much. What isn’t excusable is the state of the toilet which is absolutely filthy and disgusting. This really needs dealing with as it’s totally unacceptable.
Came here this morning around 8am about 5 people in the whole place. Wanted a cofee but after waiting for over 10 mins to be served I decided to ditch that idea and decided on a bottle of water instead. The rude lady behind the counter thought it was more important to chat to another customer who had already paid instead of serving the other customers promptly. she decided to continue to chat and not notice anyone else. After another few mins of me just standing there still with a bottle of water in my hand i did ask politely if anyone behind the counter could quickly just put the bottle of water through for me as I was in a hurry. Wish I hadn't asked now. I was met with a rude awkward member of staff who basically thought it was more important to chat then actually do the job she is meant to be doing. By this time I've had enough and left without either the cofee I originally went in for or the water. So Took my business elsewhere.......to Star Bucks down the road which was a lot more busy then Nero and I got served within 2 mins. Won't be going back to Nero ever again have been put off by this rude member of staff . With at least 4 other coffee shops all within 2 mins of walking distance in the town you would think NERO would be trying to keep customers not push then away...! Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Would much rather get cofee from a clean place anyway. Have noticed recently that the tables in the Epsom Nero are alway dirty, uncleaned and disgusting so probably did me a massive favour not wanting my business anyway. I would name this member of staff but they didn't seem to have a name badge. It wasn't the trainee on shift who was rude it was the girl training her which makes it even worse EPSOM NERO YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING!!
It's a fairly large Nero's and always seems to be busy. The downside is the tables are often left uncleaned and trays aren't cleared. No newspapers to read either. Just a bit used and shabby. Parking: Parked in Ashley Centre.
Good coffee shop, good coffee friendly staff only downside is no WiFi.Food: 5/5
Could do with a proper cleaning process and general decor needs repainting but if you want a coffee and catch up it's ok Vegetarian options: It's ok Kid-friendliness: It's ok got highchairs and kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: At least you can get a wheelchair in the front door
Staff very disinterested served a coffee that I would have complained but I don't think it would of mattered.
Of all the chains / franchises this one has the best coffee by far, also, thankfully, it's also the only one which is dog friendly. Double win! Their app is worth a download if you are a regular, free coffee and offers. Staff are always friendly in the Epsom Caffè Nero.
Ordered 3 times today on Uber eats and 3 times Caffé Nero have cancelled the order! They need to turn off their app for Uber eats if they are too busy and stop wasting my time. All three orders were cancelled by them because they were too busy!
