There were 5 in our party & there were only 2 other tables with people when we arrived shortly after 11am. They took our drink order and got half of them wrong. We had to ask for menus and when they brought them, they said they only had 4 side note, they really should wipe the menus down! They took our order breakfast items and 30 minutes later I got up and asked how much longer they thought it would be. I’m convinced they forgot to place our food order. It finally came out 10-15 minutes later, but in sections. We got our toast first, then our French toast and then our eggs and meat. My mom’s eggs were cold, my over easy eggs were not “easy” and two out of the 5 orders of toast were not buttered at all. At no time while we were there did our server come over to see how things were going or if we needed a refill on our drinks. If they were short staffed or they knew it was going to take longer for our food, they should have mentioned that to us. The prices for milk are ridiculous- $4 for a small cup!! The creamers and milk for the coffee were not refrigerated, even though it says on the container they should be. The butter was not either, but the syrup for the French toast was - go figure lol It’s a shame because it used to be a great place, but we will never be back! Definitely not worth the money, and if I could give zero stars for service, I would.
l just had to share a review of the amazing Greek Omelot l just had at Petes Pad while l waited for my car to be serviced right next door Topnotch! totally loaded, cooked to perfection, potatoes well cooked and seasoned Good coffee and Excellent service Well Done!
Great Sunday jam. Some of London's finest Musicians. Fabulous fun hosts. Good food and libations.Food: 4/5
Tried Pete's Pad for breakfast. We found this place to be friendly and clean. The value was pretty good. Culver and Clarke Rd. Is a little bit out there on its own.
I went in for lunch with my wife and father in-law. The place was empty other than a bunch of what I assume was locals drinking at the bar. The staff was just chatting with them as smelly smokers came in and out of the front door. Seemed like we were intruding on the fun of day drinking. We finally got served, but it was not a good experience. The food average. During our lunch a song came on that one of the locals liked as he said “turn it up”. And they did, they played it very uncomfortably loud and my father in-law wears hearing aids so it really bothered him. Make no mistake, this is a Bar. Not a restaurant. Smokers lingering by the front door, drinkers lined up and down the bar. No wonder we were the only people in there. Shame, if the owner only knew how much they could make by catering to new paying customers that spend $100+ on food, vs. the noon drinking regulars. That place should have had 50 people in it that time of day for lunch, but only us and the drinkers. P.s. I like drinking and drinkers, but this was a different level for noon on a weekday
The foods alright all I get is the wings but im a little disappointed in the service. I order my wings dry and get the sauce on the Side, last Friday they forgot my sauce but after calling them to discuss it they offered to give me a few pounds of wings the next time I ordered, we'll today I ordered and when I brought it up to them she offered me extra hot sauce instead. Normally it wouldn't have been an issue but after bringing told one thing then when it came to them honoring it just totally disregarding it and offering extra hot sauce 2 weeks later..... I really do enjoy the wings here but because of this I feel like this might be thr last time I order from here.
Stopped in for breakfast. Skillet was decent. Service was excellent. Will try lunch sometime.Food: 4/5
Incredible food well prepared excellent service friendly welcoming attentiveFood: 5/5
I visited this restaurant with friends and the experience was not good. It’s very disappointing because the location is so close to work and seemed like the perfect place to go for a cold beer on a hot day. My friend asked the waitressperhaps she was the owner where she was from. In his job he meets people of every ethnic background and can speak many languages. He was not being racist or insensitive at all. She then said he was racially profiling her and she didn’t appreciate it. She said “that made me mad. It doesn’t matter where I’m from” walked away from the table angry. She came back and threw menus on our table and left. My friend was completely taken aback and refused to order any food. We paid our bill and left. We will not be returning. Not everyone in the world is out to get you. Some people have good intentions. Disappointing.
Very friendly staff, good meals, great breakfast, prices are reasonable. Owners and staff are welcoming, know you by name, you feel at home, a lot of regulars. Parking: Lots of parking at the side or front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level, they do have some regular height tables, large washroom is wheel chair accessible, no stairs
