Amazing place, stopped for a quick bite as it is well placed rather than the commercial services further onto our route. Was quickly seated, and order taken, drinks then arrived promptly. Food arrived and was piping hot and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and superb for the quality of food. Covid restrictions in place, masks asked to be worn until seated and sanitising station available on arrival.
a nice little fily cafe on the highway. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was standard but all gray quality. The susages were exceptional. Like the fact that it has half breakfast with the right size for small appetite. The scone was rigjt in texture and warm. Comfy seats and helpful staff. A good choice for a quick catch and rest in the high way.
Edit: stopped here for the 3rd time on our way back from Scotland. It was 5 star I gave originally but dropped a star this time due to no baby changing. There is plenty of room in the ladies for it. Also they have changed the sausages and they are alot smaller and not as nice as the others. Stopped here at lunchtime and had the all day breakfast. This has to be one of the best we have had in a long time. Great value and good portions! Staff very welcoming and very Covid-19 aware with plenty of hand sanitizer in the cafe. Will definitely stop again when we are passing on the A66.
A lovely inconspicuous little Café off the A66. Nice and warm inside with a log fire crackling in the background. Food was great, locally made and delicious. Not to pricey, reasonable priced food. Friendly folks working at the Café.
Excellent cafe - a great place to have a stop for something to drink and/or eat. This was my second visit, and I had the same as I had the first time: a coffee and a bacon roll. Both were first class. Clean toilets, too. I recommend it without hesitation.
Great little cafe which was most welcome on our way home from Scotland. Friendly staff and wonderful outlook across the moors. We only had coffee and cake but it was delicious and they were happy to cook a couple of sausages for our dogs. Highly recommendFood: 5/5
I had a breakfast and my husband had a cheese burger and chips both were lovely I had fried bread with my breakfast was cooked well wasn't oily and didn't taste of old oil same with the chips as old oil is a real put off. Service was efficient and friendly staff by time we left it was getting busy. Will definitely come again as we pass by regularly these days Parking: It's a short turning and u less you know its coming you may not slow in time
Quiet, seems friendly cafe, good choice of hot food, cakes, snacks and drinks. Takeaway available, toilets for customers. Table service Parking: Seems like a dozen or so cars can park there
This used to be an excellent place for a breakfast stop, but when went in March 2023 we were disappointed by the changes. What used to be a great value breakfast I had posted photos has been reduced by four items and a price increase. The staff are very friendly but I think we will look for an alternative stop.
There’s a great menu selection with the food delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stop again. Kid-friendliness: A couple of high chairs available. Children’s menu and more than happy to provide hot water to heat baby food. Parking: Lots of parking, nice open car park.
