The audacity to charge $14 for a sad sandwich that looks like this—a thin layer of salami and mere slivers of a pickle and brie. It’s honestly offensive. Was really looking forward to a nice lunch and a local spot and was disappointed by what I got. The baristas were kind and apologetic when I showed them and asked how they can help but all I wanted was a good sandwich in that moment worth the money I paid.
Very cute little spot in the neighborhood, but I’m sorry these are not authentic pastries. These are Americanized Grocery Store pastries. The croissant is not flaky and butter at all. There’s no lamination. It’s like bread inside. If you want a truly authentic crispy on the outside and laminated, gooey on the inside croissant, this is not your spot. This is almost like a bun as you can see in the pictures. But very sweet staff and lots of sugary desserts if that’s what you prefer.
Excellent cafe in the. Loot West area. The service is quick and the food items are delicious. Their dark chocolate pastry is superb! Certainly try their cold coffees. Like their ambiance as well. Highly recommended cafe in the west downtown area.Food: 5/5
They have crazy good baguettes. It’s lightly crunchy, milky sour and sweet in very complicated way. I couldn’t stop eating it. It’s obviously the best sourdough bread I’ve ever tasted. It tasted much better than its lookFood: 5/5
My wife and I love frequenting this coffee shop. The coffee is excellent and their food is always fresh. The vibe inside is really warm and inviting and has a small community type feel. Staff is always friendly and have a pleasant nature about them. We usually end up being served by Victoria and she is always great to us! Not sure who owns the shop but, excellent job!! You've created something really special for everyone to enjoy!
Splendid cozy place for a morning coffee. Amazing service, the pastries fresh bursting with flavour. The place is filled with local freind patrons. Lots of street parking all over. The matcha tasted amazing and the coffee smooth, none acidic. Recommend trying this place way better than majority of coffee places.Food: 5/5
I am a regular at Cafe Rouge. It's a clean and cozy place in a nice neighborhood close to the subway. The coffee is OK and the food is delicious! Be sure to try their danishes, croissants and quiches. The staff is friendly, but the service is sometimes lacking. I had to remind them to get my quiche out of the microwave more than once. After the renovation, the place looks great, but the new little metal chairs are really uncomfortable and not suitable for big people. Overall, highly recommend.

Last winter, I booked this place for my anniversary, and they were beyond my expectations. The menu was so good! Our favorite was the creme brulé. I must say the atmosphere was just perfect. We met in this place and we will definitely book every anniversary, the service was 10/10. The price is super affordableFood: 5/5
