Went there with my 2 kids and wife on valentine's day 2017. Two waiters for a full restaurant. Some people had been waiting for a drink for 45 minutes. Service was very bad. Cod was not seasoned and tasteless. Beef burgers were as hard as rubber. Crepe was burnt at the bottom with mushrooms that were not fresh. We didn't bother with desserts. Will not go there again. There was a Cafe Rouge here and we miss it.
It's a mixed bag. As a nice place for brunch in the week it's very pleasant. We felt lunch and dinner food a bit pricey for smallish portions. Service in week lovely, at weekends per other reviews poor and slow. I just waited over 20 minutes for a coffee. It's a real pity and the owner just needs to sort it out or could follow in the revolving door of restaurants in Chislehurst. Has now closed as predicated!!!
Food is absolutely brilliant. Since Cafe Rouge became Oriel the food and the service has stepped. Funny considering it's the same company... The set menu is real value for money and they have not scrimped on the quality. Good place for a light lunch or an evening meal.
Last minute plans we booked a table at Oriels which turned out to be the most delicious beautifully cooked salmon meal I have had in a very long time! We actually rebooked the following weekend and took our family out for a meal. Very impressed highly recommend this restaurant for good prices and a the best tasting Salmon 100%
Horrendous. Service is atrocious, ordered food before all other customers had arrived and we were the last to receive it, 40 min wait. Coffee took over 20 minutes to come. On top of that the croque Monsieur I ordered was awful and left feeling hungry! Really no improvement on cafe rouge which was also awful!
I was served by a young lady named Hania who could not do enough to acomadate us. What a lovely experience to be served by such an enthusiastic member of staff who clearly loves their job. Food and service excellent! Many more evenings to be spent here.
We went for brunch an ended up staying for dinner. Service was nice and relaxed, no rushing. Food was really tasty as well.
The most awful meal I have ever had. The bar man doesn't know the different drinks. Service is very slow.

This used to be a Café Rouge and it seems they just changed the name. Standard menu and some nice seats under a skylight.
