"A beautiful vegetarian and vegan based cafe. Serving gourmet coffee, hot / cold food and ice cream. Conveniently located in walking distance of the O2 arena and local Greenwich Millennium Village Park."
Address: 48 Newton Lodge Oval Square Greenwich Millennium Village West Parkside, London SE10 0BA, XGL, GB
I had a really good cappuccino here. So smooth unlike a lot of coffee shops where it can be very bitter and undrinkable. Treated myself to a huge chocolate chip cookie to go and it was so good too! I will definitely return because they have a vegan/vegetarian menu I'm a veggie
One of those nasty feelings when you buy a cookie with coffee and drop it on the ground just after you exit. Went back to them and asked for another one, the main dude who knows me well decaf oatmilk cappucino if you forgot happily charged me second time where any self-respecting shop would show kindness to regular customer with over 100 visits.
Best coffee around the village. Super great relaxing atmosphere.
Gave me gone off milk in my iced latte £7.30 for 2 cups of lumps of gone off milk swirling around in ice, clearly done on purpose by there laughing when making my drinks, They made fresh ones what didn't turn but still not justified I drank some of that vileness... AVOID!!
Breakfast each of the 5 days on our visit. Tried different options including the vegetarian English breakfast. Had various coffee and bagel options. Very friendly service.
Great vegetarian food, sandwiches are top drawer and great value. I had to stop going after it was confirmed I had a dirty allergy, most of their sandwiches/dishes have dairy unfortunately. Only improvement would be the addition of some more dairy free options! Great nonetheless
Wonderful local cafe, friendly people and yummy treats like pastel de nata, pastries and gluten free cake. Coffee is nice and strong and good value for money. Veggie food with lots of variety.
The coffee is great, I only went a few times but it's lovely. but the person there is working with coffee and food and not wearing a mask at all. Maybe it is because some closed ones are in hospital because of Covid, but I believe that it's not that difficult of a gesture to help reduce the spread of the virus.
Recently booked a massage at the Ayurveda Pura for my husband and I after the lockdown. We have been regulars there in the past and have enjoyed their really high standard spa treatments. Booked our respective treatments over the phone. Called back closer to time to confirm the treatments again for my husband and I. On the day, though we were greeted well and the staff was polite and friendly, my husband's masseuse just before his massage thought it was professional to let him know that she usually doesn't do massages for men so she was only going to massage the legs and back when we were booked and charged for a full body massage. My room wasn't sound proof and it was quite noisy through out the treatment. After my full body oil massage, there was no scope or room to take a shower. The standard has fallen so much! Really disappointed , never going back!
went for a coffee 3 weeks ago and asked for a standard Latte to go £2.95 on the menu. It being the pandemic we kept a distance and spoke minimally which is standard behavior nowadays. The barista was doing several things arranging, wiping etc and didn't tell me the amount when he extended the machine, which happens from time to time and I never had any issues in other places. Paid contactless and next day discovered I was charged £7.95! emailed the cafe and no answer. This won't break the bank, but for sure I am not coming back there. EDIT: after their response below, I still emailed them a second time, 2 weeks and still no response to email or anything.
