So happen to stumble across this little gem. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and very attentive. They have a wonderful lovely little garden at the back, tables under canopy and some in open air.. Good for smokers. We had the bacon quiche with salad. It was a welcome break after a long morning. Definitely will come back when the area.
I am now a regular customer, and go for a late brunch/lunch, around 1-3 pm every time. And every time I have visited, I have been impressed with both the service and the food. There is a garden that you can sit out in to eat, mostly suitable in the summer, but still ok in the winter with a coat on! It has never been over-crowded there and the price of food is reasonable and for £7, you can have a Full-English, including a coffee/tea which is generous. I decided to have a Bacon Toastie, and a small, but delightful croissant instead of a Full English. This was so satisfying, that I will definitely come back and have it again on another occasion. For the Toastie, Croissant and Americano, it came to just over £6. Very reasonable for an eatery in the heart of Victoria. I have visited the cafe recently for a takeout breakfast - they opened just a week ago 4th July 2020 during the lockdown - still the same old good place with friendly staff - hopefully will come and sit in again : I now sit in the garden, usually on Sunday early afternoon, for an hour. I had the French Toast option the first time ever - it was delicious; topped with a pinch of Cinnamon and a side serving of Scrambled Egg for a sweet & savoury breakfast.
Loved our brunch this morning. Great service, lovely location, good portions, value for money and the perfect way to start the weekend! Hope to come back soon
Cozy little place, very reasonably priced! The staff are warm and friendly too which is a bonus. We ordered the jacket potatoes with tuna and cheese and a quiche, and enjoyed the food. Will be back!
Charming! Beautiful quaint cafe that feels like a small living room, outside seating in garden. Food portions were large and prices just. The food was so good and worth going back. Go for breakfast to start off your day! Very accommodating to allergies!
English breakfast was great, good portion size and very tasty, eggs perfectly fried so we could dip our toast into the yolk... tasty! Very friendly service and the garden out back was a nice surprise to eat in.
Literally discovered this hidden gem by means of a simple google search for an authentic, homie coffee and sweet foods experience and I, along with the company I had at the time were not left disappointed. She chose a cappuccino and a butter croissant, I had am Americano coffee to satisfy our pre london trip and soon after my company finishing their croissant they then stood up during our conversation, said to hold that note and that she was going to get another croissant which was then chose to be an apple infused croissant which was good to. Had an issue as they only accepted card payments on a day when all ATMs were down, but after some effort, we were able to pay and for our efforts we were given a gift. Highly recommend this cafe.
Beautiful cafe with a rustic feel. Awesome food and service. Thanks Guys will definitely take a trip back!
Came early one morning before visiting the Tate. Chose the vegetarian breakfast and halal breakfast which had turkey bacon and beef sausage, with coffee and a fruit smoothie. Portions were good for the low prices, and the food was decent, but what really made it 5* were the very friendly servers, the cosy atmosphere and the cute little garden area we sat in out back. Just a note: they don't take card payments, which we weren't aware of till we were ready to go unless we missed a sign stating this, but as the staff were directing my boyfriend to a cashpoint over the road I found I had enough on me. So remember to take some cash with you.
A delightful cafe, excellent coffee, excellent sandwiches, friendly smiling service and the price is unbelievably affordable fair. The only improvement I could give is for it to be in a larger setting but still small and cozy is fine.
