"Our cafe and store opened its doors in Kemp Town Brighton in 2013, providing simple, yet delicious home cooked food, salads, basic provisions, coffee, sandwiches and cakes to eat in or takeaway as well as seasonal goods and hampers. We also offer catering for parties and events."

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. The food was overpriced and did not live up to my expectations. Additionally, I was disturbed to witness the kitchen staff reheating soup in the microwave without covering it. This lack of basic food safety measures is unacceptable and greatly diminishes the restaurant's reputation. I hope that the restaurant will take necessary steps to improve the quality of food and kitchen hygiene in the future.
This cafe is dangerous for people with allergies and intolerances. I ordered a decaf coffee and what they gave me was an ordinary one. I'm extremely intolerant to caffeine and became ill quickly after drinking it for the following 24 hours, completely robbing me of sleep. When I drink caffeine my whole body shakes uncontrollably for several hours and I get a very ill stomach. Really disappointed. I think they should write on the cup when they get careful orders like coffees with plant milk or decaf. I would feel safer to come back then. In general the place is outdated compared to rest of brighton when it comes to options. Usually one vegan option that is no way near as good as everything else on display. I do still give it 2 stars. 1 for the friendliness of staff though absent-minded and one for the cute atmosphere in there.
Delicious cheese toasties, there's staples most of the time, and every now and again something a little different. Toasties can be quite popular, earlier you get there the more choice there is.Food: 5/5

Small but full of goodness. Ready meals. Local dairy. Organic milk and eggs. Real Patisserie bread. Homemade cakes and tasty treats.Tea and coffee. Outside seating. Very friendly. Ever evolving. Easy access. Good opening times.
I used to visit with my mates all the time after college but since the owners decided not to accept cash anymore, we stopped going. We will not support businesses that do not accept cash.
Wow. Great shop. Nice selection of foods. Coffee is A1. Croissants are fresh. Would go again and try more.Food: 5/5
