Lovely Cafe ..good food and awesome staff
Good old fashioned style chippy with sit in area. clean, good value for money and popular with those in the know. Staff could be a bit friendlier but with a steady stream of traffic it's a good place to grab a bite to eat away from the chains and healthy eating places.
Just been in Jackson&Lloyd on Lloyd st fantastic had fish special food was brilliant and service was out of this world staff are so friendly and helpful definitely going back

Hidden gem. Really good fish - fresh, nicely cooked with ultra thin crispy batter. Fish special includes chips, mushy peas, bread & butter and a pot of tea. Excellent value
Great food. Great price. That's how it was. Since the refurb not so good. Cheapest full English £9. Overpriced now and nobody in. I'll give it 6 months. Why did they change it ?
Fish and chips for £5.10. The fish wasn't flaky, which was weird for cod/haddock not sure which it was. The batter was pretty good and the chips were good too. The fish wasn't great, but it may have just been an bad one.
