Four ladies who lunch dined here today and it was utterly amazing. We all ordered different ,eats and everyone of them was exceptional. The staff were amazing, so friendly and attentive, the setting is gorgeous. A real gem in Bideford, we will definitely be returning. Thank you. Vegetarian options: The falafel and roasted cauliflower were scrumptious.
Fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Very busy due to it being so good but they do take reservations. Good Daily specials and very friendly helpful staff. Our favorite place to have lunch or coffee and cake! in Bideford. Vegetarian options: Lots of choice for vegetarians. Parking: Paid parking opposite. Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian options.
French chef owned, great food, nicely cooked. Not a large place be best to book a table before you go for a meal, but customers have gone in for just a coffee and something to eat. Pot luck if an empty table is available. Parking: Parking in a short or long term. Council owned. About a 100 yards from Bidiford Town and this cafe. There are other carparks near they are short term parking. Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I know, the cafe is part of a museum, all entrance's and exits are sloped. Visited here for the first time in January 2023 and have just paid a second visit. Will definitely be making regular visits here. Wonderful atmosphere with a real buzz and food is very well presented, but more importantly.... totally delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive. A great experience - thankyou.
Fantastic lunch here today. Turned up on spec with no booking, was very busy but still got a table. The savoury crepes were amazing, would definitely recommend. They advised us when ordering there would be a wait for food given how busy it was, but we had only a short wait and food was well worth it.
Booked lunch, after seening the wonderful Patrick Heron exhibition. Service slow but reasonably busy so happy to wait. Food arrived cold, returned warmer, ordered skinny white coffees!! Was irritable told "we don't do skimmed milk, "fine 2 flat whites please!" I was then interogated as to exactly what did I want "flat white please"was that so difficult? After an extremely long wait they arrived, while the older grey haired lady had I order from, managed to look really busy doing nothing behind the bar!!! What a shame, we are customers, we pay their wages, surely politeness and an efficient service isn't too much to ask for??? We also tell our friends about our disappointing experiences. Take note maybe!!!!!
What a shame, I love this place but I was so disappointed that they are not doing the crêpes at the moment. Quiche was nice but service was so bad, they lost on sales as no one returned to ask if we wanted anything else, which we did. We managed to finally get some attention about 40 minutes later and only had time for a drink, no time for desert. We were there for 2 hours!
Authentic french cuisine - do recommend the croque monsieur. Eat a light breakfast - trust me you'll want something sweet to pair with the coffee for afters. Staff are lovely and the cafe is fully up to date with Covid regulations. There are tables to sit inside and out to watch the world go by on a lazy afternoon.
Had a very tasty galette lunch and in turn learned what a galette was! Always a tasty meal here, full recommend
I love coming to cafe du parc. The food is always very tasty, no matter what the choice and the wine selection is excellent.Food: 5/5
