Awful awful awful, only nice good thing was the nice waitress. It was our first time here and we won't be back. We went for the set lunch menu. No vegetarian starters apart the soup of the day. I mentioned this to the waitress and asked if I could have the cauliflower bites as a starter since there were no options on the set menu. The chef said no, god knows why because all the starters on the main menu were a similar price. My daughter ordered salmon with a crispy skin and char grilled veg, well the salmon was overcooked, there was no skin on the salmon and the veg was boiled. Not as stated on the menu...it gets worse, I ordered the risotto please see picture, it was like mush, and drowned in oil, disgusting! We ordered a pudding and items were not available, so we were given options of a cheesecake as well, it's funny how they can offer alternatives for the sweets but can't accommodate a vegetarian starter. Wouldn't go back and won't recommend this place for food. Waitress was apologetic, reason no skin on salmon chef told her there had been complaints about the skin..surely change the menu details then, instead of denying people what they have ordered.
Cracking little cocktail bar with amazing food and great value for money. I would highly recommend it, especially for the foodFood: 5/5

This place been known to withhold wages from staff after they have left, as working in hospitality at this time of year wasn't hard enough, even temporary staff shouldn't have to worry about not being paid.
Lovely place to eat, however it’s a pity they don’t pay their employees - especially during a cost of living crisis. Shameful.
Good if you don't have high expectations
Absolutely shocking waited 40 minutes for v well done steak and it had red bits n blood on it my partners calzone wasn't cooked right never be back there
Had the three courses with wine tonight which was great value for money. Our waitress Jess was so lovely - really attentive. The whole dining experience was excellent
It was like eating in a mad house, loud screaming and shouting from various tables ,it was as if 5 or 6 hen parties were taking place all at once. and the worst service and food I have experienced for a long time . Yes there was a staff shortage so you could expect problems. Quite a lot of dishes on the menu were not available our waitress took the order 3 times and never wrote it down .Well well surprise surprise the wrong order came leaving two at our table having to wait for another 10 minutes before getting served. The starter, goats cheese and the sweet, lemon tart were very poor quality . And after 3 attempts to order a main from the menu I managed to get something that was available .steak burger and it was delicious . We did complain and the management offered a reduction on the bill which was great fully received.
A lovely place to relax with friends and eat. The food was excellent. Fab service by Jess who was totally on the ball. Thanks for another great experience. I would definitely recommend coming to eat or drink here.
