Vegetarian cafe, recommend by the staff at our air BnB, seem like a place local would visit too. I had veggie Mac cheese with haggis - great to finally try some haggis!!! And a veggie burger and chips, the burger was a little dry. The menu is limited and on the wall written with chalk. The coffee is good. Seating is limited and u might have to queue for a seat. Seems like a very popular spot to eat.
Amazing breakfast place with views of the water. We got the breakfast special and the Scottish breakfast. Everything was made to perfection. Probably the best latte you will find in town. A must do. Get there early or there shall be a wait.
Arriba--A good choice away from the crowd and yes, up the stairs you must venture! The special was Beef Lebanese Stew and an excellent tasty hearty choice it was! The scone delivered as well as the coffee. The atmosphere and the folks who served excelled at hospitality. The deserts and coffee are worth the venture to climb up to Cafe Arriba! Five stars are a rarity for me to give.
Lovely, little cafe overlooking the harbour. This place was a lifesaver because it was one of the very few places open on a Sunday afternoon. They served a delicious venison burger with miso sauce & great chips on the side. Coffee was about average. It’s a very popular place, so you might have to wait for a few minutes to get a table.
Had a really nice lunch here. We enjoyed the haggis mac and cheese and a flatbread pizza. Service was quick and friendly. Really cute atmosphere too!Food: 4/5
Good time with friends in Cafe Arriba eating burgers. Good location just next to road. Perfect service tasty food and additionally great view on Portree Harbour
Service and atmosphere were great. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the veggie breakfast. Smoked salmon scrambled egg bagel was okay. SIL enjoyed her small breakfast. Surprisingly good hot chocolate and green tea.Recommended dishesSalad, Big Breakfast
Lovely place for a brekky! The lorna sausage and the bacon were the star of the full Scottish Breakfast. We also had the pancake with bacon and a bacon and egg roll. We were a group of 6 and we were all happy with it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and despite the place being full, everything came out quickly. Would highly recommend and would certainly come back if in Skye again!
When we arrived here there was a que waiting to be seated as it was quite busy at the time. We waited and eventually got a seat. We had breakfast here I had a fully Scottish and partner had the vegetarian breakfast even though she isn't one. Both were very well cooked and of good quality. Staff were friendly and we noticed it was also dog friendly which we love to see. Side note, if your lucky you could get one of the tables at the windows which have a great view out over the bay.
Every day they have some specialty aside the regular breakfast menu. I was lucky to come on the day they had sweet corn pancakes with fried egg, bacon and Sauce Hollandaise. It was really good. The views to the harbour are also fantastic.Food: 5/5
