A nice setting. Very small inside and staff are keen to have you sit outside. The food and drinks were nice, albeit a little on the expensive side. The experience was slightly ruined by the cold welcome. It’s basic politeness to smile and say hello when a customer enters your establishment. Instead, we received a firm face and a “yes…?!” I must say, it made us feel like we weren’t welcome. I could no more say that to a customer than fly. The young lady was polite. I got the feeling it was the owner that was the cold one. If correct, she should know better.
Enjoyed breakfast here twice during our stay in Dartmouth. Dog friendly which was great. Husband had a full english, and I smashed avo on toast, both delicious. Lovely coffee too
Charged £5.95 for ONE slice of sourdough bread despite being £3.95 on the menu? Then an extra 1.90 for two slices of bacon! Would have left happy if I had been offered an extra slice of bread, but nothing was offered nor done about it. As someone who has worked in hospitality, this should have been the bare minimum! Terrible experience and terrible service.
Everything was amazing, and the staff super friendly!nnFood was beautiful and highly recommend alfs big breakfast with cinnamon toast.nnStaff brought out some cut sausage for my dog
Really tasty lunch,the scallop, avocado and bacon on sourdough was especially good, in a lovely environment.
