Friendly, inviting, bustling little cafe by the water in Leith. Freshly cooked bacon rolls, with lots of options including haggis for those keen to enjoy some of Scotland’s finest breakfast menu ingredients. Not a bad coffee, and very friendly service from the staff. On a sunny day it’s a delight to sit out the front and have a beautiful view of the water and cobbled street.
My partner and I are having a short break in Edinburgh and stopped here for lunch. My partner had a tuna panini with an Americano coffee and I had the vegan moussaka with a pot of Turkish apple tea. The food was delicious and the staff team was super friendly. I highly recommend this place!

I love here because of the location and also you can find a place not sure why this is possible : Usually places like this are fully booked. I totally recommend Simit and Turkish Breakfast I had leak and potatoes soup as well they made it with dill which gave their own touch to the soup. I loved it.
Opens early on a Sunday, the only one that does on the Shore before nine. Very friendly Captains. Food and coffee great value and fresh as a nuns jack n Danny. Also Dog friendly, inside and out. Top bananas or baklava depending upon your persuasion.
One of the best Turkish restaurants for breakfast in the area, I loved the simit and with the cheese and the toppings it was so ymmy .. You need to give it a try..

This is actually the second time we visited this cafe and ordered the same thing again. That's how delicious it was!! Amazing staff and service, mouth watering food &stunning interior very homey. It's worth it all!! Thank you so much P.s. Been craving turkish pepperoni and it was an additional to the plate. I'll leave it for the pictures to speak for themselves!
Authentic, quirky and friendly. This cafe is my favourite in all of Edinburgh. I lived round the corner from here from 2001-2007, visited every Sunday. On a recent trip, I believe it's still the same people who own and run it. Truly special, try the Turkish coffee!Food: 5/5
