Normally this Cafe Rouge is quite quiet and the service with quite attentive too. I haven't had a bad experience yet but some of things are quite expensive that i haven't had. I would recommend looking at their new 2 courses set menu which seems to be quite good! The food is nice and the restaurant decor is nice too. If you haven't been, try it out.
I've liked all of the food I've had here. You can usually google search for a voucher code to get a good discount. Staff are friendly and want you to enjoy dining there. Outside seating too.
Good sized portion of Moules Mariniere - but a tad over cooked. Having said that the Creme Brulee was absolutely superb. On their website found the Offers page and took advantage of the Wednesday offer - 241 on food from A La Carte menu. Did have to have the downloaded to show staff and make them aware and accept the offer before ordering food. So bear that in mind!
Very delicious food but the service was slightly slow. Didn't have a number of food items during my visit. In the bathroom the hot and cold tap signs were on the wrong taps.
Food standards and quality have gone down. This was our most favorite place and we havent been for about a year. We cut our birthday celebration short and we left very disappointed
This café has the prime location in Woking but I feel that they have not been able to capitalise on this. Service has been variable, sometimes indifferent, other times good. Food indifferent.
Lovely decor, excellent service, really good food. Can recommend the king prawn starter and moules mariniere for mains.
Awful, tasteless food. Steak Frites was as tough as old leather, and tasted about the same. Don't bother.
I was using an afternoon tea voucher&took my mother for a treat. The sandwiches were delicious, toasted with mozzarella cheese on the outside & ham inside. Very tasty. The waiter gave us a larger table which had great views to people watch. Tea was hit & no problems having pot refilled with hot water. Staff were friendly, professional & helpful. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.
I went there for a light lunch with a friend. The place is very chill and relaxing with nice atmosphere and kind staff. They were very friendly and communicative and helped me choose what i want from the menu. The potato hash with duck is probably the best thing i have eaten in a while in a restaurant. Had a very nice time. Coffee was also great and with a lovely touch. Really impressed by the overall of the place. Definitely recommend this place if you want something nice to eat, a place to relax in and friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10 in my books :
