It was ok. We booked at 3:45 but waited a really long time to get our food. We had the afternoon tea set and it was ok. The cakes were dry and extremely sweet but the sandwiches and scones were amazing! The staff were nice too but there were quite a bit of flys near our area. Hot chocolate was good too.
Very good birthday meal with pleasant and attentive staff.
I have been there twice - once for afternoon tea and the second time for brunch. Both occasions my husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal.
Excellent service by all staff, unfortunately the food was not hot, the chicken was, so the potatoes must have been sitting around for some time. My dish was tasty and hot but getting it half right was not really good enough. It's a shame as it was my brothers birthday. Fortunately, everything else was good. If the service has been average this would have been 2-3 stars.
We tried to have lunch today with family. The place was full and there appeared to be just 3 servers. It took 40 minutes to have a sharing platter and from sitting down at 1pm we left at 3.30 without a desert as we ran out of time. I felt so sorry for the hard working staff. The kitchen was over-loaded with delivery orders so the restaurant people had to wait. The food quality and rib-eye steaks were very poor, tough and full of gristle. The menus were overpriced. I've had 2 bad experiences before so this was definitely my last visit. It really was a bad experience with all the customers complaining.
Really lovely staff & the burgers were lovely. Unfortunately, the 8oz rump steak wasn't good & stringy but apart from that, we had a lovely lunch! Nikola was a lovely attentive & friendly waiter! Definitely worth 5 stars!
I didn't find the quality food that the premium price commands in this place. Maybe it was just a bad day.
Food here was delicious and there is a varied selection on the menu. Service was very attentive and friendly. On the other side We would like to point out the toilets need a bit more attention cleaning and checking on paper and soap should always be readily available also the ladies taps spin.
I came to this restaurant for the first time 2 days ago and it was just amazing. I hadn’t been in a restaurant with the same great atmosphere. The staff are brilliantly diverse coming from all around the globe probably! I was talking to two of the managers one of them of a spanish descent and the other of polish descent and they were so polite, not to mention the food was amazing!! whenever you’re near a cafe rouge restaurant i definitely recommend you to go in and have a meal. Whether it’s for breakfast or lunch or dinner, I’m sure you’ll love it!
