Fantastic food, fantastic staff. Well managed social distancing. A relaxed dining experience. Tucked away but we'll worth seeking out.
Absolutely amazing place to go. Everywhere else was booked and we were lucky enough to find Cafe Rene where they kindly took 6 of us. The food was spectacular and fast. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend.
My most favourite place to eat in town. Perfect food, wonderful service and hospitality. It’s just a real friendly atmosphere highly recommend..
nice place to go if you have not been before. limited menu in the evening as i wanted chargrill lamb chops but there was only steaks from the chargrill menu so i had rump. it was cooked to perfection . we also had sweet potato, goats cheese and spinach pie which apparently was divine! coffee was hot but alas no jamesons whiskey. :
Just had the best sandwich ever here so tasty and filling. Waited a while but definitely worth it. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back.
Quirky pub/restaurant set in a side alley in Gloucester City centre. Characterful interior with its own well in the middle of the entrance and a room with glass bottles covering the ceiling. Great home-made burgers and the lamb curry and steak & ale pie were very acceptable.
Great food well cooked, lovely friendly staff and atmosphere, lily was especially efficient and made us feel very welcome. We were in gloucester celebrating our wedding anniversary, lily helped make it special. Highly recommend a visit if your in the area.
Love this pub. Really like the old decor here, especially the bottles in the ceiling. Food was great. Best chips I have ever had! Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend this place
Historic and friendly with a cosy atmosphere. Has late opening on some days for those who enjoy that. Good selection of ales, and some nice cider too. The food is great also, although not sure the restaurant is open with Covid restrictions currently.
