Excellent cafe and tropical garden centre. Lovely area for cafe amongst the plants and fish.
This is something unique and beautiful. The sound of water is so soothing. They even brought a complementary glass of water with the coffee.
I really enjoy coming to Urban Jungle. There is such a massive array of plant life from what you'd expect to some more exotic stuff. There is also a really nice little cafe to get a drink and a bite to eat. It's not your standard garden centre affair so I'd definitely recommend checking out if you haven't already!
So much more than i was expecting. The food was a lot more than just cafe food, freshly prepared and delicious, my pizza was one of the best I've ever had. Loved that we were offered hot water bottles of we wanted them. The place is gorgeous and it's lovely to wander over the bridges and watch the fish, it does feel like a jungle.
It was nice to visit this cafe to experience something a bit different to the norm. However I felt that the experience really didn't live up to the hype generated by the other reviews on here. It cost £24 for two breakfasts and coffees, and I was quite disappointed with the food. My breakfast was served on a side plate, it came preseasoned with salt and pepper and we weren't offered any condiments. If it hasn't cost So much I probably wouldn't have minded but I don't feel the price was justified. Your paying for the novelty of the atmosphere.
Super place to have a bite to eat while shopping for plants. The coffee is exceptional and the food is simple but well done. I'd recommend going in the spring though when it is not too hot as the indoor seating feels like being in a sauna.
lovely little cafe, quaint and great selection of cake
Stopped for hot coffee on a cold and frosty morning, but it was warm and cosy inside. Plenty of parking, although the access road has one or two pot holes that need filling. Plenty of lush vegetation to choose from and to add interest to your garden.
Visited again 6months later and sad to say the service was poor this time. We were seated and then left with no menus, and had to ask for them. Then the food took forever to arrive and i got the eggs benedict which sadly must have been poached using vinegar because i could taste it over the sauce so that was disappointing because it looked lovely. We then went to pay and i told him the table number which my mum checked and he said it was 18 but my mum said 10 and im really still unsure if i paid for someone elses table, was not offered a receipt or confirmation of what i paid for and the bloke that served me was very focused on getting me to just hurry up and pay and seemed quite impatient with me querying the table numbers. Im also certain as i ordered an eggs benedict, tea and soy milk, a cheese scone and a coffee and my mum just wanted toast, which was then delivered to the table without butter im sure i was charged a whopping £9 for two pieces of white bread and butter which is downright ludicrous i looked back at the menu online when i was home for prices especially as the service was poor. I think the management need to address a few things here - its a lovely place but currently very poorly managed. The young waitress that served us was lovely - very polite, i think they possibly need more staff and a faster cook.
Expensive experience. It took 45minutes to get a few coffees and scones which was heavily over priced. They have plenty of garden plants, established trees and shrubs. You might have to remortgage to buy a few bits and bobs. The kids loved the indoor pond, bridge and huge fish. Wasn't offered a loyalty scheme or reason to venture back.
