Decent food with affordable prices. A lot of tables and not crowded. Seats both indoors and outdoors.
Food was tasty and well prepared. Staff were efficient however I did feel they could be a bit more friendlier. Eg. We stood waiting for a table for a few minutes but were not acknowledged. A simple "will be with you in a minute" would have been more welcoming. The masks hide any smiles so being more chatty would make up for that.
Lovely wee place for a chilled lunch with our two dogs. Great conservatory and walled garden area at the rear to sit in away from main part of restaurant. Food was very good and staff super friendly and helpful. Will return on our next day trip.
The chilli nachos were amazing, fast service, friendly manager and staff. Would highly recommend
We've been coming here for years -- always pop in on our hols from Edinburgh. Friendly, welcoming staff, a down-to-earth ambience, and lovely food. The chilli nachos are superb, as is the 'Café Biba' pizza. A welcome sight on the high Street...
Not exactly the friendliest of welcomes, maybe some people like the sardonic humour behind being told things listed on the menu aren't available. Could have just waited till we'd got back to Edinburgh and bought nicer cakes from Greggs.
Warm and welcoming. Sanitizer at the doorway, tables cleaned regularly and details of diners taken on ordering. Good choice and quality of food being offered. Staff friendly and efficient.
Had a little bite to eat, food was ok, the place was clean and staff very pleasant.
