Absolutely brilliant! If you love the Roman era and anything to do with the Roman Empire and its people, this is a perfect place to discover lots of interesting facts, including a perfectly preserved amphitheatre and the barracks. Can't wait to go back! You need to plan a whole day to visit as it is in 3 different sites. You need to buy entry tickets at the Roman Baths which allows you to look around in the bath area. We didn't seem to need tickets at the museum or at the barracks. For those who travel by public transport, the best bus routes are #27 and #28 from Newport Bus station to Caerleon but check in advance in case they changed it. Have fun!
A lovely little village with so much history! This Roman bath house was tucked back off the main street in an unassuming building at the back of what seems to be a pub carpark, so keep your eyes open for it! But it was a great fine. Friendly staff took our £4.80 each entry fee and we wandered around. Lots of signage and viewpoints, all clearly laid out detailing the history and some fun interactive games for the kids and us big kids!. A lovely little find. Glad we followed those brown Road signs!!

Fascinating look at a Roman Baths complex, complete with projected water and swimmers. The information on the boards was really accessible and interesting and the short film showing a typical visit to the bath house was hilarious. Nice choice of gifts and some very nice ice cream on offer.
A Really good example of the baths the Romans once used, a really good exhibition, plenty of boards to read for information, amazing to see the prints left by a cat and dog and the sandal print, definitely worth a visit, good starting point to see all the sites, start at the baths, then museum then the fortress wall then the amphitheatre, then the barracks, they are all FREE except the baths unless you are a Cadw member, £4.80 a nice little town to walk around as well with a few nice pubs.
Fascinating trip back in time to see how the Romans kept fit and clean. A wonderful insight into Roman way of life. Parking: Right outside the Bathhouse building. Great for wheelchair users.
Omg I love this place, we've been here so many times, from a young child to an adult an the history of this place still amazes me! You can see loads of ruins an get to feel what it would be like to be a roman! I can't imagine 6people in one toilet room can you ? it's perfect for all ages well worth the visit.

Very nice and we'll preserved piece of Rome in Britain. The staff was really nice and helpful good explanations and amazing visual effects helping to understand the place. Fantastic for children and adults would enjoy it too! Park in front of the amphitheater at 5 minutes walk to avoid the neutered parking.
