Although the day was overcast and windy good walking day at Caen locks. Nice cup of coffee in the cafe. Jess the dog loves it even got in the water

This is a lovely little cafe which is situated right at the top of the cane hill locks with fantastic views over the locks and the surrounding country side the cafe itself dose a lovely cup of tea and a good selection of food.

Small and busy cafe on the day I was there,  but it is cosy, nice and helpful staff and a lovely cup of coffee. If it is a nice day you can sit outside and look across the locks. The locks are well worth a visit as quite a unique step from the upper to lower levels. The cafe is a welcome place to to have a break and relax

Lovely welcome at this little tea room after coming up the Locks. Tasty varied menu and also dog friendly.

Feels like sitting in a hut located on a mud bank. Uncomfortable accommodation, but suitable for a quick cuppa. Not recommended.
