I had a very disappointing experience today, 31st July 2024, at the Cadbury outlet shop Portsmouth Freshstores Ltd. I purchased 13 Classic Creamy Taste Dairy Milk chocolates along with two other chocolates, paying a total of GBP 20.43. Upon reaching home and attempting to open one of the chocolate packs, I was shocked to discover that the expiry date on all 13 Dairy Milk chocolates was yesterday, 30th July 2024. This means that the store was selling products that were already expired by the time I bought them. Selling expired products is not only irresponsible but also a breach of consumer trust. It poses potential health risks, and it’s utterly unacceptable for a reputable brand like Cadbury to allow this to happen. Moreover, the store's handling of the products is questionable. Either there is a complete lack of quality control, or they are deliberately trying to offload old stock without regard for customer safety and satisfaction. This is a serious oversight, bordering on cheating customers by selling products that should not be on the shelves. I strongly advise anyone shopping at this outlet to check the expiry dates on their purchases carefully. This experience has left me feeling cheated and disappointed, and I am reluctant to buy from this outlet again. It’s crucial for Cadbury to ensure better quality control and to avoid such incidents in the future. Selling expired products is unacceptable and damages the brand’s reputation.
They shouldn't really let me in this place. The likelihood that I buy the whole place up is high. On this occasion I managed to control myself. But the choice of all the different goodies that Cadburys have to offer is superb. I'm also a sucker for the mis-shapes. I also like the prices which seem very favourable to what I see in my home country of Germany. Service is brisk, by the way. On the day we visited there was a lot of footfall so little time for cheerful banter etc.
Come here if you wish to save some money on your favourite Cadbury products. My recommendation is the big bags of Cadbury misshapes which are cheaper than the Swindon outlet mall! The store also has a big selection of different types of Toblerone. Come here after Christmas or Easter to get discounted gifts.
Cadbury lovers haven. Not big but enough to be excited and be happy. As it is Cadbury Outlet, you will see everything cheaper and want to put at least an item in your bag. You wont get irritated or frustrated to buy everything that is SWEET! Thy have range of Carbury icecreams and some cold drinks if you get thirsty of sweetness. Everyone enters this shop with excitement and leaves with child like happiness after getting the thing you wanted. Visit them, as the most important thing is they are cheaper!!
great quality cadbury outlet, surprisingly cheap and sells things like creme eggs all year round stock dependent! managed to get 8 creme eggs for £2.99, but you can also buy boxes of 5 for just £1.99, which is so cheap compared to when they're in the supermarket. you can also customise your own box of roses so that it only has the ones you like in it aka: the pink ones
Very expensive in comparison to the supermarket prices. Be careful otherwise you will well and truly get ripped off here.Food: 1/5
I have literally just bought these in their shop. Bought Turkish delight too. Unfortunately I didn't check the date on the Heroes - 01/09/22. A note should have been up saying short date. Bought as a small thankyou to our neighbours Not happy!!Turkish delight were November which is fine.
Why do I never learn. In my 70th year, 6 front teeth missing, a belly the size of a cruiser bouy and yet I still cannot walk past this shop. They even offered me a bag incase I wished to buy more. I can't bite spaghetti as it is, let alone, munch a crunchie.
First shop I walked into and spent over £30 lol Picked up some cool Christmas sweet bags for the kids. I also got two bags of miss shaped sweets, got them home and there was a lot of them that had been squished, so half the sweets was stuck to the side of the bag. But hey that’s what you get for buying miss shaped sweets. The big Toblerone is cheaper at Costco.
I’ve never been to a Cadbury shop. It’s got a nice selection of Cadbury products even those I didn’t know were Cadbury. Located in Gunswharf Outlet, lots to shop here
