Right, look, it's really simple. This is Bristol's finest food shopping experience. Not to mention a local institution. Unpretentious. Beautifully workaday. Five fat bright shiny stars.

The store owners are incredibly racist. They followed my partner round the shop and asked me what she was doing because she's of black heritage. If you look at past reviews this isnt the first time this has happened with this store. Much of the food is out of stock and the hygiene of the place is poor.
Awesome Italian food shop. If you are after some really good quality ingredients this is the place to go. Fresh produce is generally good as well, fennel, shallots, mushrooms, herbs etc. Great for olive oil, tinned tomatoes, coffee too.

Lovely Italian store! I used to shop here 30 years ago when I was living in Bristol! Can't believe it's still there, I still remember today the smell of food walking into this shop! I would love to go back, brings back super nice memories!!!
Authentic Italian food and wonderful staff. Great variety of good pasta for 70-80p, delicious arancinni, parmasen and of course good wine. Also cheap but good houseplants.
Going to Licata is the next best thing to being able to go to Italy
