Me and my husband are very pleased with our wrought iron fencing and gates they were supplied and fitted by Chris at a very reasonable price the work was completed to a high standard Chris was very friendly and professional .We would not hesitate in recommending to family and friends.
I can see some negative reviews due to not getting back to customers. We waited so long for our gates but they are worth it. I think with covid we should make allowances for a delay as certain materials have been hard to source. The workmanship and design is superb so all I will say is please don't base your opinion on a lack of communication.
Phoned this chap up , explained we wanted some ideas for a new gate , he set a date and time to call round , but did not turn up . Then when mum phoned him again he happened to answer the phone and said oh yep i will call on my way home , which he did , but said oh I will ring you with a price tomorrow. We have not heard anything from him since . A lovely way to treat an 84 year old lovely lady . I just don’t understand?? We are serious customers, we desperately want a new gate . Don’t people want any work ? So rude to just not turn up and then never phone again . I am disgusted.!
Came round to have a look at the job last summer - said he would come back with a price - chased up three times and called in once - each time was told he would be in contact by the end of the week - nothing! If people don’t want the work why don’t they just say that!
Chris is an excellent metal craftsmen in his line of work his handmade gates and railings are second to none for quality and I had my first set fitted over 10 year ago and they still brand new today price are very good for what you get 10/10 from me Thanks Chris
Fabulous gates supplied and fitted by C.Hargreaves. They are top quality, look amazing at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
