They had my car for 10 days every time I rang up to ask if they found out what was wrong with it they gave me excuse after excuse as to why they had not looked at, in the end I gave up. My advice is to avoid this garage at all costs.Service: General repairs & maintenance
Very poor and very disappointing as I have used this garage for years. My car needed attention and despite taking it back a number of times and having further work carried out, it still wasn’t right. Eventually I took it for a second opinion where I was flabbergasted to find that the disks had eroded and should have been identified when the break pads were changed. I then had to pay a second time to get these replaced by another garage and despite contacting CD motors they have not had the courtesy to return my call not at all surprised because I requested a refund of the brake pads they changed because they had to be replaced with the new disks. All other work carried out was satisfactory hence they have been scored 2.Services: Brakes
Looking at the last review I find it very hard to believe the comments that were posted. My experience couldn't have been any better. From the minute I entered the reception to the point where I collected my vehicle I found CD Motors to be polite, professional and very informative. I had a number of issues with my vehicle which other garages were not able to rectify and although my car was with them for a couple of days, it came back with no faults or issues. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. I was kept well informed and notified of any work that had to be undertaken before they proceeded. On the day of collection I was shocked to find the cost of repairs was nowhere near what I was expecting. For the amount of work done I was expecting a far higher bill. Finally just to say I very rarely leave reviews but on this occasion I felt it necessary to share my thoughts and experience. Waste of time and money taking your car to this garage. Went to simply fix an EML issue, and nearly £300 later, a damaged front bumper and three visits and the issue is still not fixed. Poor communication and have constantly been told different things as to what needs to be fixed to resolve the EML. Paid for a part and labour which didn’t fix anything and then lied to saying there were other codes on car which there never were. Wish I never went to this garage as I’ve been left worse off and still have the original issue I came with! Also £50 to plug an OBD and read a code? Most garages you go to do this free of cost. Would not recommend this garage at all. Keith damaged my car himself last August 2021, I am still here now June 23rd 2022 and the issues have not been resolved. Been lied to for months. Shambles of a garage, awful customer service and complete liars.
