Attended a baby shower here and was absolutely disgusted at how rude the lady was. The food was all very nicehence the one star but the service was beyond indignant from the very start. Everyone in the party was polite and thankful despite her attitude. She couldn't wait to get rid of us and went as far as pretending to have a booking after us. She made a loud, fake phonecall to delay their arrival. When I walked past the tearooms not long after, the lights were all out!

Wonderful 5-course tea. Everything is home made and served by the owner. She was particularly helpful to one of our party who is lactose intolerant. Booking essential.

The place is very pretty and quaint but the owner is very miserable and not welcoming at all. We had afternoon tea which was good especially the soup but the cakes were not nice at all. We left most of them.

Excellent food, attentive staff, lovely surroundings and my fellow diner gave the toilets 10 out of 10! Will come again, but book, just in case.
