Loved this cafe. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a roast beef dinner. Large £9 small £7. Generous portions. Hot and tasty. Breakfast roll was great! Clean. Had a toilet. No NHS or Bluelight discount. Will be going back again!
Always a pleasant experience here. Was rather busy when we went today but only had a short wait for a delicious freshly cooked lunch. Used to work nearby and would get breakfast baps daily for the office which always went down a treat. Only visit once a month now but quality has gotten ever better over time. Highly recommended
Good value food, delivered within the signposted 30 minutes so we could get back to the music festival on time. A pleasure to have the choice of small/large portions. Huge carp in the garden and nice to be able to sit outside.
Christmas Street Market day today. Currently in Buttercross Garden Cafe enjoying the best sausage/egg, bacon/egg & bacon baps/sandwiches. Lovely, tasty and cooked to perfection. Will be back!
Went here today and had an All Day Breakfast, and it was very quiet in there, It took quite a long time for me to receive my food despite the cafe having less than 5 people when i entered. The food was not that good. The sausages were burnt and were way too small, the bacon was far too crispy to really taste anything, i did not want bread and specifically asked not to have bread but the guy who was taking my order completely ignored this and i got bread anyway which i didn't touch, The other members of staff were also swearing non stop while preparing my meal which was very unpleasant to hear at a small cafe where there could have been families around. This place has gone way downhill since i last visited a few years ago and i would no longer recommend coming here unless the staff have proper work manners and actually listen to their customers properly when they are ordering
