Where to start. I was here yesterday with my sister for a market Brittany Ferguson Art, Watercolourist and my goodness is it the most fabulous venue. First time visiting and can't wait to come back for more markets in Dec. Amazing food, drinks and staff were so friendly. It was a brilliant day from start to finish.
We had a lovely afternoon at the Bute Yard! Amazing atmosphere with live music which was excellent. Pop up food stall was delicious and there was a good choice of drinks at reasonable prices! Definitely the place to go for drinks in Rothesay! Would highly recommend!
Absolutely loved visiting Bute Yard. Cocktails were delicious, sampled the gin flight and pop up pizzas. Staff were great. Look forward to visiting again
Wow, what a surprise it was to find this venue on High St opposite the Police station. The pet project of the late Jonny Bute 7th Marquis, this is very large venue.Capable of hosting most types of events. Its so huge that a farmer's market is held every first sunday of the month. There is a dark stage in a corner but no adverts or mention of live music. My friend and i visiting are both musicians in my blues band Blue Horizon. It would be great to play there on specially themed and advertised nightnIn current cost of living downturn and now off season.nThe place was very quiet. Catering facilities exist but are used for specific functions only. Open approx 2 years this venue has great potential, especially in summer months Perfect for blues, jazz and other festivals. If managed correctly, could bring much needed life back to the island.Return visit 20/9/24, all is same no changes.
We could hear live music playing from the window of our flat and followed it to Bute Yard. We enjoyed a great restaurant pop-up, beers and live music in a warm and friendly place. Even when there's not an event on, it's a great place to enjoy the sun or sit inside at the inviting picnic tables. Highly recommend!
