The place requires upgrading, the waiting room and toilets have been vandalised by groups of youths from the high school and the college. Also a haven for drug users and dealers. I witnessed a dealer standing on the seat and lifting up a roof tile to retrieve his stash of drugs. This place leaves a lot to be desired. Now the buses come in to drop off and uplift passengers but those coming off have to fight their way through the passengers waiting to get on the buses. There is no queueing system and again not enough room to even put one in place. Come on Stagecoach let's sort this out before all goes tts up. It would be good to see two caretakers on duty to keep things under control and tidying up the litter which at times is really bad. The photograph was taken on a good day and a public holiday with schools and college closed.
Lovely town. My first seaside visit, when I was 5, was to Arbroath. The weather was perfect when I visited, but it was a shame the abbey was closed. I had the traditional Arbroath Smokie.
The Bus reliability is a bloody joke here. Buses are either Never on time and over 40 mins late or they cancel them but won't tell you til 30mins+ have passed.
Place was fairly easy to navigate as was not really busy. Clean and tidy, no rubbish laying about. Had a fantastic lunch in cafe seven myself and my partner had the Soup and sandwich and a cold drink although the special board said a hot drink, soup and the sandwich was very very tasty, I had Coronation chicken and my partner had tuna and sweetcorn both of the fillings were 100% excellent and so was the soup. Then we got some shopping and we got a bus home.
Was fine. There's toilets but they are closed from when the waiting room is locked up for the night.
