For those who are confused, this is the national express bus pickup point at Preston bus station. Every day, there are two services from Preston to London Victoria: 22:25 and 03:15. If you are coming to drop someone off, you can park in front of Blitz Pub for easy access, and you can see the bus coming.nnNB: There are also national express bus waiting seats inside the bus station. Normally closed at night, but you will have access if you show the ticket.
Bus stations is as good as they come! However a word of caution. I came from Blackpool by bus and it took two hours to cover the 15 miles. The area has lots of slow moving traffic and uncorodinated traffic lights making bus travel time consuming. I returned by train. The train station is not bad but not the modernist classic of the bus station.
Visually stunning, big car parking spaces, electric charging points, working lifts, everything a bus station car park should be. Reasonable cost too - third of the price of parking in Winchester for example.
It’s a cool one. Plenty of spaces to sit and wait, toilet is free to use. Shops within the bus station building.nIt’s good
No problem with buses. The public toilets were disgusting at 1pm in the afternoon, with no toilet roll in any of the cubicles. Really need to be checked and cleaned more often.
