Great little art gallery with some activities for children. Nice place, I took a service user with dementia and we had a wander round. It has some interesting things to look at although it is a bit sparse. The museum bit downstairs is good, there is a bit more to look at there. I have nothing to complain about though as it is free. On a recent shopping trip we decided to have a walk around the back streets of Bury. We then came across the museum and art gallery. It's not full of exhibits but it's got some interesting ones nevertheless. The little tea room looked very nice as well. We might try this on another visit
What a fabulous place to visit, see amazing history , great art, lovely art shop and helpful staff. Not forgetting Tina and her tea room!!! Fab sandwich !!!! Free to enjoy a few hours, well worth a look

Nice couple of hours for a mooch round. Some interesting pieces to see and a cafe on the first floor. Roadside parking is available very close by small charge and this is opposite the Fusilier’s museum also. There are events on regularly so worth checking social media and the website for updates. Right in the town centre and very accessible from Bury Interchange.
This is very interesting place to visit and an enjoyable experience for all the family whether for both locals and for shoppers to the Famous Market and shopping experience.
