We love to visit Burry Port. The beach is clean and dog friendly. The sand is soft and full of shells. Clear water and close to the little shops. Now has loos! Parking is plentiful and not too expensive We love to get fish and chips from Joseph's and sit on the benches with our supper. Best way to end a beach day.
Stunning ...lovely day in good weather just relaxing on the beach...enough facilities there as well...
Burry Port Marina is a lovely little place to stroll around. With a couple of cafes dotted around it, it makes a perfect place to sit with a cuppa and take in the views of the vast stretches of golden beaches. There are two dog friendly beaches at Burry Port either side of the harbour. Both have beautiful sandy beaches, blue sea water, and an extraordinary views of a beautiful lighthouse and dogs are permitted on them all year round. Parking is pay and display down by the harbour, you can choose to park by the marina or just around the corner facing the beach. Beautiful place to come, only wish I lived a bit closer!

Not what it once was. The harbour is highly silted and a lot of weeds and dog mess around the foot paths. The area is still nice to walk around but the harbour itself needs a lot more attention and investment.
