Best pasta in London literally making it edible we were eating. The maltagliati with red wine braised beef chin had me begging for more while the radicchio, apple, walnut Gorgonzola was its perfect balance. Paz lead my friend and I through the menu which was very hard to choose from. Had to get some to take home too.Food: 5/5
the sauce was good but blasphemy: they overcooked the pasta and asparagus. what a waste of good eggs and vegetables. A waste of carbs too.Food: 1/5
Slightly overcooked pasta accompanied by very rushed and curt service. Although their ambiance was very warm, welcoming and homely - as if you've just walked in to a friend's living room - the service was everything but. Every bite felt closely watched as the wait staff patrolled the dining area, ready to swoop in as soon as you place your cutlery down to take away your plates and ask if you'll be having desserts or the bill. It was anything but relaxing. You can clearly sense that they want your table back as soon as possible, even if we've only been there for 45 minutes and still had 45 minutes remaining in our allotted time. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was great - but the pasta was overcooked. The 3 stars given are for: Location Ambiance They cooked the octopus perfectly. A feat rarely done well in London restaurants. Glad we managed to try the place but not sure I'll be coming back.
It was an amazing discovery! I loved this place, amazing italian fresh pasta in the centre of London. I highly reccomend to any italian and not only. I took their Agnolotti signature, it was nice I didn't find perfect the balance between the meat and the butter, but was good and my girlfriend choice was amazing. She took tortellini Cacio e Pepe, incredibly tasty! We also took half liter Primitivo, the perfect choice with our dishes. Dry and bold on the palate. I liked the possibility to take just half litre and not the full bottle. Very nice and hardworkig stuff. Vegetarian options: Tortellini Cacio e Pepe with Truffles are amazing
Hand made pasta made in the afternoon for the evening dinner crowd. What can I say but fabulous. The Signature ravioli is made of beef, pork, spinach over a sage butter sauce. Get there early to buy the pasta as they only make a little extra to sell as a take away. The rest is for the dinner crowd.
A little gem in Shoreditch. Took my dad for his birthday, and to be honest he's really difficult- he lived Italian food, but like it very specific. We had the best time. Great wine, the service was so sweet and the food was delicious. We are anything vegetarian on the menu and it was all beaut. Fab presentation and just really love it. Great shout for an intimate setting, and relaxed too. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options which is great
At first I was not sure how many stars to give, but writing the review made it actually clear. The service is good as the waitress pay good attention to the customers and I loved the atmosphere: warm lights, simply decorated but cosy. Towards the entrance, there is also an “open-kitchen” where 2 women were making pasta from scratch. We didn’t have any appetizers, so we started from the pasta! All pasta is unique, as none is a traditional dish you can find in any restaurant in Italy at least from my experience. I ordered orecchiette with stracciatella, green peas and ham: it was good, but something did not feel right. My friend ordered the spaghetti, where although tasty and pleasant for the palate the lemon was a bit too strong and ended up covering partially the cod puree I felt the fava beans were there purely to add colour. We closed our dinner with the cannolo! Again, I was not very happy or satisfied. Inside it was indeed ricotta but it felt different from the sicilian ricotta and lemon zest was added, so same problem as before since the ricotta’s taste was not that strong. About drinks, I had a red from Toscana and my friends a cocktail. Lastly, about the price... a bit expensive for what I had, but average for London I guess. If the menu will change I would be glad to try again! Until then, I will go somewhere else.
OMG! Handmade pasta in a Scandinavian-style dining space, fantastic service, EXCEPTIONAL food. It was so relaxing that I left feeling like I spent an hour at the spa… The antipasti pizzetta was incredible. Flavourful and the perfect appetizer. Truffle wasn’t too strong. The pastas were fantastic. My favourite of the two was the Mallorddus sausage and saffron ragu, but The Signature was also delightful. They are filling without you feeling overstuffed. The desserts were good too… but I could have gone without them. Out of the maritozzo and Apricot Frangipane, I liked the Apricot. It was more unique. Both were yummy but too heavy for me after the meal! I cannot emphasize how nice the server was. She really checked in on us and I felt like at no point did I need to flag her down. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!!!!!! 60 £ for 2 people, starter, 2 pastas, 2 desserts, 2 bottles of water Vegetarian options: They do no have veg options marked or indicated.
Cozy atmosphere, best pasta in London in my opinion! All freshly made and taste amazing : Wish there was more for the pasta dish! Would return.Food: 5/5
Came here for a meal with friends. Was very happy with the pastas we ordered. Perfect portions and good flavours. Also feels like they use quite seasonal ingredients and change their dishes often, which is always a plus!Food: 4/5
