Closed due to the Covid-19 the house was opened for a private visit for my wife and myself. Paul was extremely helpful and informative about Burns, his wife Jean and their children. Well worth a visit.
The house was closed when we visited although Google maps had it as open! Would have loved to have seen inside. Visit during Covid-19 but not lockdown.
We rung and arranged an appointment to view the house due to it being closed due to Covid. We had a private tour with a lovely friendly man who was very knowledgeable and told us so much about Robert Burns and family
Super great little museum with so much about Robrt Burns. It’s a free museum and the caretaker is so nice and informative. He told us that the two 1/2 moon tables were were once a whole table at a friends house . Robert Burns used to visit and sit at that table.
Always great to learn something from times gone by. The house certainly gives an insight of living in those times.
Beautiful house unfortunately it was closed when I visited, would have like to have went inside I also heard it is free entry. But now I can say I have walked passed Robert Burns house even if I didint go in. Nice painting to the front with some info.
Great wee place to visit, very informative staff, kids loved the Lego character hunt.
Loved it. Its wee home. Really inspirational for academicians and people from literature. I went late so can't get enough info but overall a lovely experience
Had to take photos from outside. The house is not currently open to the public.
