I hadn't had a takeaway for 4 weeks since I'd stopped going out with all that's going on but on Friday my next door neighbour who works at the chippy offered to bring a fish and chips with mushy peas back with her for me. Well, it survived the drive back to Bolton and was absolutely stunning - exactly what was called for. The fish was lovely, the chips spot-on and by the time I'd finished picking all the bits off the wrapping I nearly ate the paper too! Lovely!
Excellent fish and chips. They'll batter you a sausage if you ask and you will love it. The ladies there are so friendly, I take my little girl there and they always talk to her. Great food, great people.
Just been down to the Dr's and the delicious smell of freshly fried chips hit me. I had to go in. I had a chip butty. It was the nicest chip butty I've ever had. Lovely soft bread, fresh chips and , if I'm not mistaken, butter. Awesome. Thanks ladies
Nice food and nice staff. However, im getting sick of paying slightly above average prices and having portions designed for a toddler. Ive ordered a portion of chips before and watched them put one scoop of chips barely a quarter of a plate and wrap them up. Being stingy with your chips is a bad sign and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Will not be going back. Advice to management - people will pay money because the food is nice, but dont take the p*** with portions.
Great staff, lovely food, could do with it opening a bit more than wednesday to frlday, if not let someone else that wants a business take over

Kept me waiting, customers who came after I placed my order got served first!! Mentioned it to the girl at the till she replied its alright. Obviously doesn't have clue how to deal with customers
I've been a loyal customer here for a couple of decades and I can honestly say that the Fish & Chips here is the best in the world.
Soggy anaemic looking chips that weren't quite cooked through. I saw someone's fish that looked like a battered beer mat. Wont return.
best chippy anywhere , batter on the fish is light the chips are cooked perfectly and the ladies who work there are lovely .
