Disappointing tbh..nI went to watch the UK Rock Show tonight, a great gig and a top band which I’ve seen many times.nnAfter the show around 9:45pm the band headed to the bar to do a meet and greet, the band couldn’t even get a beer as the bar had shut, by 10pm everyone had been ushered out of the building, it was as though “we’ve got your money, now off you go”.nnAs a Burnley lad this doesn’t really encourage me to visit the place again, we bought tickets to see a great band and enjoy a night out, it seemed to be cut short too early.nnI’m sure keeping the bar open and allowing the band more time to meet for photos and atleast have a beer with fans once the show was over would be a good thing and make you a bit more money, sadly not to be.nnReally poor.
We arrived an good time for the performance, our seats were where we expected, we had good seats. The lighting and the sound were of high quality. The artists were very good and a good representation of ABBA.nI always enjoy Burnley Mechanics as a venue,
We watched the Ultimate Rock Show, and it was fantastic. The musicians and singers were superb. The seating arrangements in the Mechanics are really good as your view isn't obscured we will definitely definitely watch another show .
Went to watch Showaddywaddy last night, had seats near the back of the theatre but since booking them my wife broke her kneecap and is struggling to walk. The staff at Burnley Mechanics were so helpful, Becca looking at what other seats were available, Chris helping us up to auditorium and helping us with the seats and wheelchair plus two others, the gentleman checking tickets downstairs and the lady upstairs, whose names I didn’t get. Thank you.
Our first time visiting this venue. But we will be back.nThe UK Rock show was ace!!. Great music, fabulous lead singer plus an amazing set of musicians. Rocking the night away. We really enjoyed the open floor aspect, rather than having to be seated.nThe greeting staff on arrival were helpful. We visited the bar before the show which was well staffed. Reasonable bar prices, always a plus.nThank you for the opportunity
