First time swimming here the other week and was surprised to learn it was only 7 years old as its looking rather tired. Noticed while swimming that the chaps using the sauna used the pool to cool off in ? Any chance you could possibly shower before gifting me with your sweat ? also why do people take fruit into the sauna with them ? noticed quite a few doing this ? is there some kind of unofficial tropical party going on that i dont know about ?

Great leisure centre with brill gym facilities, and fantastic instructors in classes. Airways clean and equipment in good condition. I believe the pool is being refurbished at the moment.

St Peter's gym is quite small compared to others but i guess the swimming pool/sauna/steam room make up for it if you want an all in one membership. The price has crept up over the years and i do think between the joining fee and higher monthly fee it just isnt worth it. I used to spend ages during peak time waiting for machines to be free which would disrupt my workout. If you are going offpeak it should be good.
