Saw Dr Chauhan who listened to my problems. I accepted one of the treatment options given to me which I will trial for a month and then return to see how things are. He was very polite and helpful. I didn't feel rushed at all. However I would give the experience with the receptionist at the time 24/2 at 10am zero stars. She had an attitude which I believe was inappropriate and I would suggest she needs some customer service training! Her helpfulness was non existent!
Really shocked at how this surgery has deteriorated. I rarely need a GP fortunately, but also had a terrible experience with my late Mum. Needed a simple triage call to explain my symptoms, which were classic of an infection needing antibiotics. Told no appointments - at 9 am Monday, cannot make an appointment for another day and go to A&E. How can that be acceptable advice when they are overwhelmed with something so very easy to sort out. I will vote with my feet after being at the surgery over 30 years
Dr Philips is an amazing doctor, she listened to my worries with my children and didn't dismiss them like the other doctors. She has supported me and is referring me to specialists to get my children the help they need. More doctors need to be like her. Kind, understanding and listens. Thank you
I really appreciated the time taken by the doctor to listen to my concerns and to explain . The thorough follow up was reassuring too.
Dr Guerin as been brilliant with me and all my problems as have the majority of other doctors ...but the access and format of trying to get appointments and medical advice leaves a lot to be desired it's an absolute nightmare at most times.
Disappointed that l was unable to see the Doctor of my choice as a follow up for an X-ray, but very satisfied with the treatment and diagnosis l received from Dr Chauhan
Receptionists are helpful and polite as are both the doctors and nurses I've spoken to. The only issue is actually arranging an appointment, the appointments are usually gone within 5 minutes of opening. If you're trying over the phone I wish you the best of luck as it is very unlikely you'll get an appointment I have had other issues with the practice but understand there's a huge strain on the NHS at all levels. I have witnessed members of the public being rude to the staff which is absolutely disgusting; the receptionists do not run the practice. Nor do they decide how is it run.
The online triage form works well - usually end up with a same day appointment with a variety of times/locations available.
Gone worryingly down hill and will do anything they can to ensure you don’t get a face to face appointment. Do any GPs work here anymore???
